Reading with Babies

NewYork_mini

As I continue to forge on with Mother Goose on the Loose (storytime for babies) I love finding blog posts about how important it is to read to babies. A lot of the moms who come to MGOL still don’t read to their babies saying that the pages get ripped and they don’t know how to hold them or what to do with them. Well my friends, that’s because you need to teach them those things. And ripped pages are not the end of the world. This blog posting has some great tips on why reading with your baby is important and some examples of great board books (no more ripped pages!)
