Toddler Time: Zoo Animals

I’m going to start posting my storytimes again. So here’s this week. We talked about zoo animals. We also do a craft the day before. Sometimes it agrees with the theme and sometimes it doesn’t.

The lion at the zoo goes roar roar roar

Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell

SONG

(tune: Muffin Man)

Oh, have you seen the animals,

The animals, the animals.

Oh, have you seen the animals,

That live down at the zoo?

I have seen an elephant,

An elephant, an elephant.

I have seen an elephant,

Who lives down at the zoo.

Lion…

Bear…

Snake…

Monkey…

Tiger…

CLOSING SONG

Can you kick with two feet…

Wave with two arms…

Nod with one head…

Kiss with two lips…

I had magnet board animals for all the songs just to make them more visual and exciting.

Craft the day before was…
