This was a great book. Very intense, but not graphic. I think some of the mystery novels of today are very graphic in how people are murdered and I’m not into that. No spoiler alert, the daughter dies in the first 10 pages. There is no suspense with that. The suspense is how she died. The people in her family all know different details about her or about the night but won’t tell each other or the police for fear of what it means about themselves. It makes you think about what other people know that you don’t. It would make a great book club book.
