I read this book because it immediately reminded me of The Night Circus. The back of the book is what gave me this impression. “The shop from nowhere can appear at any time, in any city.” If that doesn’t remind you of this I don’t know what will. “The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not.” The wonders that appear in the Nowhere Emporium remind me of the tents that appear at the circus. It is all very similar. Nowhere Emporium has a fight between wizards and a boy-girl friendship (non-romantic this time). It is all very enjoyable. Plus, it’s a stand alone! Thank God for books not in a series. Could also be a younger grade YA book. Is also available on NetGalley.
This sounds exactly like The Night Circus based on the back.
